Tianyi You is an illustrator with a passion for storytelling, dedicated to creating colorful, warm, and quietly funny images.
Originally from Changsha, a small city in central China, she first studied landscape gardening in Beijing before earning her MFA in Illustration Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2025.
Her work has been recognized internationally, including the 2024 Bologna Illustrators Exhibition Winner, 3x3 Annual No. 21 Merit, and Society of Illustrators 67 Jury Selected. Her illustrations have been exhibited in multiple countries around the world.
When she’s not drawing, she’s either crafting something weird or paddling around the pool like a duck on a mission.
